Adam is a middle-aged, religious, widower who lives with non-binary young adults and finds himself in a society he simply does not understand. When differences between East and West transcend into a vicious world war, in which only Adam’s generation are willing to fight, Adam encounters the brutality of nuclear annihilation only to be transported a thousand years into the future. In a world of breath-taking natural beauty and untold dangers, Adam discovers the future is a terrifying world of discipline and work, where fun does not exist. Armed with only a modicum of pop culture knowledge, a helpful professor, an odd band of Elvis impersonators and love for his family, he sets about restoring the past and saving the future.
