Through candid interviews, they reveal the obstacles they faced, choices they made, and determination that helped them succeed—often in professions traditionally dominated by men. Among them are a jockey who competed under her initials to conceal her gender and raced in all three Triple Crown events; a 5'2" undercover FBI agent who infiltrated criminal organizations; a former teacher who became the first second-career rabbi after waiting until her children were in school to begin rabbinical studies; and an Emmy Award-winning member of the original Saturday Night Live writing team. Their diverse stories share a common thread: perseverance, achievement, and triumph.
