The is a sequel to the book Kami, The Shelter's Deaf Puppy Makes a Friend. Kami and Matrix have gone home but they are now off to school. Matrix comes out of his shy shell when he is around Kami, who is deaf. Matrix, Kami and their owners Aaron and Mira head off to work with trainer Kimmy. Kimmy says all dogs need to learn sign language in case they can't hear you or if they go deaf. In class they meet a new friend Hobo and his owner Alex. The kids learn that training a dog is training for them too! This book is meant for children from 5-8 years old or beginning readers.
